TELVA JANUARY 2012.
http://www.telva.com/
Dear everyone:
We are very happy to publish our first appearance and interview in Telva.
Thank you so much to Maite Sebastiá for your time and dedication.
We are extending the answers to help with the understanding and contextualization of the work that we have developed during 2011. Happy holidays.
1. How did you come up with your name?
They are the initials of our last names.
2. Ergonomic Territories is your first jewelry collection. How did the idea arise?
We design nature, symbolic, translated abstractly converting it into an emblem of our era accomodated to the body.
We are inspired by natural forms such as the Aneto, the Teide, the volcano Cotopaxi.. that contain stories, legends.
Anni has a house in the alps, in Nendaz, and we have spent our best moments.
I grew up in Boltaña, in the Pyrenees and my relationship with that territory is always very special.
3. Who is your ideal client?
We are looking for the relationship between the piece and the person. Anyone interested in having a personal story built for them.
4. Where can we find your jewelry?
We are currently establishing collaborations with 2 exquisite galleries-shops, WE*DO Gallery in Bangkok, it's our dream spot to exhibit and sell the pieces.
And in October we will have our own exhibition in the recognized gallery "Beyond Fashion" of Antwerp, the great capital of contemporary fashion.
On the internet we were selected by Vespoe and we are very happy, it has a great level.
5. Where would you like to see your jewelry?
The pieces have a technical lenguage and an associated social history that could be exhibited by themselves since they relate the person/user and the context/emblem of a manner that goes beyond "beauty/uglyness" that is unfortunately imposed in the jewelry world.
We would love to be able to see them exhibited in the CDAN of Huesca, that integrates art and nature.
6. What are you committed to? and what phrase inspires you?
Our foundation in any discipline is technique, be it jewelry or any object we are working on. "After having studied the watches, we must now study the clouds" says Karl Popper.
7. You both come from the design world, who inspires you?
The architect Enric Miralles. This year its been 12 years since his death. The landscape he generates, the scale, the geometry...
8. If you were a metal you would be...
-Anni would be gold, of course! Because of the purity, and I would be the aged silver, because it means the process, relating to history.
9. Who would you like to wear the jewelry?
Estrella Morente or Miuccia Prada. Because of the strength of tradition and contemporaneity they give off.
10. A good plan for Sunday...
A walk in the mountains, cocido madrileño in Malacatín and in the afternoon, the exhibition of Aleksandr Deineka in the March Foundation. To finish up the perfect Sunday, there's nothing better than a concert of "Electronica en Abril" in the CasaEncendida and then a great session in CassetteClub or Polka.

TELVA DECEMBER 2011.
The TELVA Fashion team selects 39 must-have pieces for the Christmas holidays.

L·T·C·H· means…a lot of things and I can’t almost define all of them, but The Flâneuse wants to recommend you one of their wonders, jewels no jewels, they are a pieces of art designed by Anna Tomich, featuring the other part of L·T·C·H·, Jorge López Conde. She is a tireless prospector of all meanings for the word, Design. She is native of everywhere but now fortunately she is living in Madrid.
